Duniway All Stars Child Care, Inc. (DAS) is a non-profit program that offers before and after school care, a Pre-Kindergarten program, and a summer camp to the Portland community. Our staff, parents, board and community are proud to have a program located in Duniway Elementary that provides quality care in a safe, nurturing environment. DAS is open from 7am – 6pm and also has an All Star Day option for child care on the in-service and conference days.

  • Work cooperatively with the teachers and staff of Duniway Elementary School.
  • Continually improve the quality of child care according to identified best practices.
  • Continually improve the curriculum to incorporate Developmentally Appropriate Practices and encourage children’s active learning in our play-based setting.
  • Manage and support the staff to ensure a productive, positive, safe and nurturing environment.
  • Ensure long-term and short-term fiscal viability.
  • Provide scholarship assistance to low income families.
